Calcium Formate Feed Grade
Appearance White crystalline powder Solubility: approx. 160 g/L water at 25°C Production Calcium formate feed grade is obtained by chemical synthesis. Composition: Calcium content min. 30,5% Use Calcium formate Feed Grade represents a highly available calcium source, and can contribute to an adequate supply of calcium in the diet. Additionally, due to its preservative action it is suitable for use as a silage aid. Processing Due to the corrosion free properties, safe handling and its easy mixability makes Calcium formate as salt of formic acid an ideal product in premixes, mineral and compound feeds. Because of its high solubility in water it is particularly suitable for use in milk replacers. Its technical properties guarantee for homogeneous mixability and stability against demixing. Storage, stability and packaging Calcium formate Feed Grade should be kept cool and dry in the original packaging. Under these conditions, stability is guaranteed for at least 5years from manufacturing date on.
