Application: in poultry feed for egg yolk and skin pigmentation Description: orange to dark red free flowing powder AVIZANT RED 5 contains natural xanthophylls obtained from the extract of selected mature red peppers (Capsicum annuum). Major pigmenting power is guaranteed due to a modified process of extraction and stabilisation. carriers: inorganic Activity: 5g total xanthophylls per kg, mainly consisting of red xanthophylls (capsanthin) and a minor part of yellow pigments To replace 1 g synthetic red (Canthaxanthin) by efficacy 3.5 g total xanthophylls of AVIZANT RED 5 are necessary at colour fan values from 8 to 15. Analysis: method of analysis is available upon request Loss on drying: max. 12% Bulk density: 0.7 - 0.8 g/cm3 Dosage: The normal dosage for egg yolk pigmentation ranges from 0.5 to 6.0 kg AVIZANT RED 5 per tonne of layer feed with the supplementation level depending on the dietary content of pigments and the preferred egg yolk colour Storage: Keep bags well sealed (opened packs must be reclosed) cool and dry, protect from light.
